Igniting a Spark: The Cybersecurity Challenge
With the growing demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals, institutions are recognizing the need to offer real-world, hands-on experiences to their students. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology sought to bridge this gap through an interactive, high-impact workshop that could both educate and inspire.
However, hosting an event of this scale—spanning technical lectures, practical training, and a competitive Capture the Flag (CTF) challenge—required deep domain expertise, coordination, and an experienced partner who could deliver both technical excellence and engaging mentorship.
What Hacktify Brought to the Table
Hacktify Cyber Security stepped up as the strategic partner to design, lead, and execute the CYBER FLARE workshop across three impactful days. The event was tailored to guide students through the core pillars of cybersecurity—ranging from fundamentals to real-world tools—while also fostering critical thinking and teamwork.

Day 1:
Dr. Rohit Gautam covered the Fundamentals of Cybersecurity, setting a strong conceptual foundation.
Dr. Shifa Cyclewala walked participants through Linux Essentials, preparing them for hands-on system-level operations.
Day 2:
Mr. Ridhesh Gohil introduced participants to Network Security and toolsets for system protection.
Mr. Aftab Khan explored Ethical Hacking Techniques, blending theory with real-world examples.
Day 3:
A 24-hour Capture the Flag (CTF) competition challenged students to apply everything they learned—solving vulnerabilities, decrypting puzzles, and defending systems under pressure.
